The reason? Personality conflicts and downright brawls have already occurred between some of the trainees! And, while the company has disciplined those involved, the buzz around the CCW office is that feuds between wrestlers are not discouraged. Keeping guys away from each other in two training facilities will make for more intense matches in the ring later. |

CCW Titles Promise to Deliver
However, the CCW Television Title must be defended on television at least once every fifteen days. This will prove to be the most hotly contested belt in CCW, as the Power Rankings for possible contenders ranked 9th thru 16th are bound to fluctuate dramatically every week. The CCW Tag Team Championship will be defended regularly too, no less that once every thirty days, putting it on roughly the same schedule as the Caribbean Championship Belt. Both the Tag Team and TV Titles can be defended outside Jamaica and the Caribbean Basin, which opens the possibilities of CCW title matches in the U.K., the United States, and other countries.
Which brings us to the Holy Grail. There are Champions, and then there are Legends. Once a year, CCW will crown a man who truly defines Excellence in our sport. You can be sure, decades from now all CCW's title holders will hold special places in pro wrestling's rich history, but the winners of the CCW Legend Series will be remembered by all.
In a press release, CCW President Augie Lee described The Legend Series this
way, "I wanted to create a title which has never existed in all of professional
wrestling. The concept is simple; a title defended just once a year, with a
best of seven match series against a single opponent. The man who wins four
out of seven matches, wins The Legend Series for that year. His place will
be permanently etched in CCW history. Sure, he gets a lot of money, He gets
a new car. But that is nothing when compared to the accomplishment of being
one of two men called to prove they are worthy to be called Wrestling Legend.
And that one man, proved it."
In a small Florida town called Plant City, the artisans at Championship Leather are busy hand-crafting title belts exclusively for Caribbean Championship Wrestling. Joe and his talented group are the official belt makers of pro wrestling federations all over the world, including NWA, IPW, 3PW, MCW, Wrestling Vixxxens, PWF, Zero One, JCW, and JAPW. Once these finished works of art arrive in Jamaica, CCW's athletes will have a chance to hold these symbols of Pro Wrestling Excellence. That will be a defining moment, when a few young men promise to themselves, they will be the absolute best there is. CCW POWER RANKINGS |
